Greetings, Welcome to the web page of the Presbyterian (USA) congregation in LaMarque, Texas. We are a congregation of many decades and are looking forward to many more. Our theme for the new millennium is, “Come grow with us!”. As we visit newcomers in the area and welcome visitors, we give them a small plant that will grow into a beautiful flower, representative of our life in Christ. It also reflects our life together as a body of Christ called the Church. We have a new form of worship which is a blended worship, some of the old, some of the new. We use various instruments in worship with a variety of hymns from the old Gospel hymns to the new Praise music. Our service is informal and our congregation friendly. There are a variety of things that may interest you that take place weekly. Those can be found under “program” on our selection menu. We are basically a “new church development” and are “making all things new. “ Our vision is on the future, and not so much on the past. If you are not content in your present situation or feel something is missing from your spiritual or emotional life, then give us a try. We can’t be all things to all people but maybe we can be something important to you. We are a church of grace, not law; mercy not judgment; inclusion and not exclusion.
